During a PPVI, the ASE Certified Technician Will Check the Following Areas:

  • Transmission and Drivetrain: Functionality, fluid levels, and signs of wear.
  • Brakes and Suspension: Pads, rotors, shocks, and struts.
  • Body and Frame: Signs of accidents, any signs of rust or wear, or major structural damage.
  • Tires: Tread depth and wear patterns.
  • Electrical System: Lights, battery, and connections.
  • Interior: Seats, dashboard, air conditioning, and other features.
  • Test Drive: Checking for issues with handling, brakes, alignment, dashboard lights, and overall drivability.
  • Tech Systems: Stereo system/ speakers working, Navigation, safety features such as airbags, sensors, etc.
